The Committee on Entrepreneurship, Regulatory and Antimonopoly Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law “On amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine on matters of exercising state monitoring (control) in the sphere of economic activity”

The bill (Reg. No. 2839) suggests establish at legislative level responsibility of inspection bodies officials for non-adherence to the procedure of exercising state monitoring (control) stipulated by the Law “On the Main Principles of State Monitoring (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity”, including by supplementing the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringement with articles 16621 and 18843.

Committee members believe that implementation of bill provisions will promote development of competition and will reduce administrative pressure on economic entities.
